Accolades from 2015 National Science Teachers Association Conference

Cambridge College was very well respresented at the 2015 NSTA Conference held this March in Chicago.

Brandy Whitney (above) applied for and won the PASCO award for middle school science teachers.  Thus she was able to attend the 2015 NSTA Conference and now will get $5,000 in PASCO products to use with her students!

Sean Musselman (above) was a great presenter at the Middle School NGSS Share-A-Thon with his demo on cleaning up oil spills.

Stephanie Selznick and Suzanne Flynn co-presented OSTB: Outstanding Science Trade Books to a highly interested audience in Chicago.  Stephanie is winding up her 3 year appointment on this valuable committee and will now be serving on the Elementary Advisory Committee for the next 3 years.

Hooray for Juliana Texley (above), the current NSTA President, for her superb leadership with the National Science Teachers Association as well as for her service to Cambridge College students in our Middle School Science Master's Program.

Of note is the 3 year appointment of Trupti Vora as the newest member on the 9 member national OSTB panel for reading 200+ K-12 tradebooks this summer and helping to pick the "Best of the Best" in children's science literature.  Trupti will be helping Suzanne Flynn present the newest Outstanding Science Trade Books at our 2016 NSTA Conference in Nashville.
